Istanbul is not a city you ever "finish"! We recommend that if you want to go out and see the city, do it BEFORE your hair transplant. The city is huge, intense, and full of contrasts. European on one side, Asian on the other.

1. Take a regular ferry across the Bosphorus
2. Experience the Basilica Cistern
3. Spend time in Kadıköy or Moda

The Great Classics

• Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque: The heart of historic Istanbul. (Set aside 2 hours).
• Basilica Cistern: A huge underground water reservoir. Almost cinematic.
• Topkapı Palace: The great Ottoman palace. Requires at least a few hours.

Hidden Gems

• Kuzguncuk: Narrow streets and colorful wooden houses on the Asian side.
• Zeyrek Çinili Hamam: A 500-year-old hamam and museum (remember, no hamam after surgery!).
• Ihlamur Kasrı: An intimate imperial palace in the middle of the city.

Neighborhoods to Experience

• Kadıköy and Moda: Modern, Asian city life without the large tourist crowds.
• Balat and Fener: Colors, history, and side streets.
• Cihangir and Çukurcuma: Bohemian vibe, coffee, and antiques.

Important Note for Hairplant Clients

After your surgery, you must follow the clinic's instructions. Istanbul can be hot and busy. Take it easy and use ferries/taxis instead of long walks.
